Freedom. The power or right to act, speak, or think as one wants. Is it right to want freedom, of speech, expression, choice? Yes. Why not? Do as you please, maybe don’t kill out of hatred. De-mo-cra-cy. Odd term. No matter. It’s letting you vote in elections, Allowing you to have that freedom you want. The man you elected is your representative, the people’s representative. The purple scratch marks on your index Are its proof. Choose your leader wisely. Does he want freedom, democracy as you do? Maybe. Or not. He may want to crush you, because he doesn’t like what you eat, how you pray, who you love. Of course, democracy shouldn’t allow this. Power of the people. Power of the people. Respect it. Immense power courses through you. Use it, use it for now and the future. Hoard it, guard it selfishly, it’s the only way you can have a say. Downplay it and you’ll drown, An iron fist crushing you as you stand.
